The Edge of the Sea is an apocalyptic relic, a result of the merging of ecologies from above and beneath the ocean. The work begins with a fascination in the skeletons of sponges washed up on the nearby coastline and a sense of wonder in both their similarities to land fauna and a re-imagining of their live state.
